Socialism relates to economic policy. It has nothing to do with any of the things you just mentioned.

 

it also relates with social policy as well and just because the dictionary definition sounds nice "regulated by the community as a whole" as soon as the people gain full power as soon as their is a sudden imbalance with more people saying to restrict freedoms, freedoms will be taken away. Usually this starts with freedom of speech, ex: trigger warnings, safe spaces, feminism agenda (modern). This really puts more stress on the people rather than the government to prevent loss of freedoms like speech.

Nowhere in that definition is anything about restrictions of speech.

 

I just explained how freedom of speech would be taken away, in theory this could work, in practice it won't. I said people have total control meaning anything over 50% will sway what laws are made. The reason we have representatives today is to put the people in check. (US)

Please, stop generalizing. Communism has such a bad name because the countries that use it aren't doing too well. The government should work well in theory, but isn't compatible with human nature. Government control over the economy doesn't mean no democracy, no free speech.

 

It does limit them however.
