Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"She needs rest. I can give her some energy, but it's not healthy if I do it a lot." Ihra says, holding her staff to Kailee's forehead.

 

"Ok...

"Let Kailee rest a bit."

 

Katie walks off, looking for Myria.

"Oh, ok." Katie says, starting to walk into the city.

 

Cecil sits down, resting.

 

"She's a bit feverish, but I can't tell if that's normal or not with fire breathing dragons."

A growl follows Katie's departure.

 

Katie looks back at Kailee, curious.

 

"Don't look at me. I'm not a dragon expert."

 

I nod, and then pick up the crown to examine it.

 

Kailee's tail flops against the ground, knocking dust Katie's direction.

"I'm not a fire dragon." Ihra chuckles before blinking off.

Standard issue royalty, it looks like. Golden crown, jewels, and a polish that'd reflect the tiniest bit of light. Whatever castle or royal family it belonged to, the jewels are about a fist's size each.

 

"Impressive." I say, putting it back and picking up the skull.

 

Standard human skull. Not very well preserved, but decent enough to tell whoever died never got past middle age.

I hold the skull up.

 

Katie picks up her pace and searches for Myria.

 

"Where did you go?"

 

A broken vase, dead flowers, the skull, and the crown.

Ren eyes you awkwardly.

Xephyr seems to be staying somewhat near Katie.
"Hello again, miss Katie." She says. "You ease the power drain of this world... sorry to be following you."

There's a fading blur going up on Rineth's back.

 

"Hey Xephyr!" Katie says happily, "Um, have you seen Myria?"

A cold aura surrounds Katie, the ground freezing slightly at her feet.

 

"I think she was in the city. I wasn't there long."

 

"Oh, ok!" Katie says happily, heading into the city and continuing her search for Myria.

 

"Of course." Cecil waits for Kailee to wake up.

 

Xephyr follows her, knowing Katie eases her effort to keep the air temperature low.

It takes a while, but she yawns after an hour.
