Ah, ok.

12 does not hit, and so by default your disadvantage does not hit. I guess I should explain advantage and disadvantage.

Normally you roll a dice and thats your number.

With advantage you roll 2 dice and choose the higher number

With disadvantage you roll 2 dice and choose the lower number.
