Banshee Strategies

The banshee in the Hollow Sirene quest, has high regeneration, leaving him unscathed from my attacks.
Is there any way to counter this and kill the Banshee?
Or do I need more people?

 

Are you using a build with low DPS? You might just need to attack more frequently to deal more damage. If you're having trouble surviving bring healing potions.

 

I'm using Chakram with chain lightning

 

Chain lightning is bad against single mobs because it's effect is hitting every mob in an area for a small amount of damage. Try chaining spin attack and multihit to keep the Banshee blinded and do a lot of damage. Might be hard if you don't have much INT / mana regen though.

 

Get a weapon that counters the banshee's elemental weaknesses

 

Make sure your weapon isn't being defended by the Banshee's elemental defenses. If it is, try getting another weapon that either has neutral or weakness damage. Make sure to cast as many spells against it as you can in order to increase the damage dealt.

And, Chain Lightning won't do much against it because of the way the special works. Try changing or adding powders to your weapon to get a more useful special, but make sure it correlates to your build (use your second or third element as a powder special rather than thunder).

As long as you consistently deal damage along with the spells and possible special, the Banshee will eventually start to lose health, even when it regens a part of its health.
