Oh, well we only know the code stuff they decide to release or we calculated and for numbers we have the api

I'm a programmer, so to me it basically means all the unique methods and variables in a language or program.

 

Ah. I took enough programming back in the day to be able make an educated guess at what a piece of code is doing, but am not current on lingo or syntax.

So there's a way to get at this API for us outsiders or are we just going to have to reverse engineer the calculations through experimentation?

But I don't think you can query for calculations.

 

So the API lets you request data from the database(s) behind wynncraft via the web, and those I've looked over look like they're what's feeding data to the website.

Yeah, potentially useful, but not for seeing the nuts and bolts of how Wynncraft works.

Actually, the item queries are going to potentially simplify my data pulls for populating my own queriable database for character build research.
