Las Vegas is extremely expensive. Drinks and food is okay.
Me and my family went to the Hard Rock Café, for 5$ a soda you get as many refills as you like.

That's okay still, compared to the attractions..
I think it was around 45$ to go up the Stratosphere tower once, the biggest skyscraper in Las Vegas, higher than the Eiffel Tower. 11 to 13$ per ride on each attraction once you're up there. And 150$ if you want to jump off the tower and land in the net. I didn't do it.
17$ for a single ride on the New York New York roller coaster, I did it, it wasn't as rough as Theme Park Review said it was :



I spent my afternoon at the AdventureDome, the world's biggest indoor theme park, built inside of one of the hotels : Circus Circus.
Also, each hotel has a casino and a theme. Our hotel was The Venitian, the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in in my life.
It takes over 45 minutes to visit the whole hotel. It has over 30 restaurants, 70+ shops and it's the size of a small town.
And the hotel rooms are bigger than any of my friends apartments.

 

holy fuck can't wait to visit. (I'm UK, and heading there for christmas)

 

It takes 2 to 3 days to visit Las Vegas.
One day for the hotels, a second for theme parks and attractions, and a third if you've missed anything.
Be sure to take a selfie when you'll walk past Wynn xD

About the indoor town thingy at The Venitian, it also can be experienced in Macau (I've been there once, just a passerby)

 

So apparently if I crack a meta-joke about the developers's lodging I get likes.

In other news, the closest I've prob ever been to Vegas is asleep on a flight to LA.
