Xp Mechanics

How does the xp system work? It mentions on the wiki that when you kill a mob, for each level of difference between you and the mob, there is a 3 % chance that you get 0 xp. But I'm pretty sure this is outdated. There's also no information (I can find) which lists the xp given by each mob (I know it's random but it's bounded). Is there any objective formula for each mob's xp?

 

the 3% is true and is still in place.
the amount of xp you get from each mob is probably save in the gm files so unless salted releases them we cant know anything

 

Wrong. You instead get 3% less XP overall per level difference instead of having a 3% chance to get NONE.

 

Is that the only mechanic at play? Because if so then I'd be very happy.

 

are you sure? I'm pretty sure I got a couple of zero's in frozen heights with my level 92 (I also havnt played in a long time)

Well if you were using totems that's cause you killed mobs while they were outside the radius
