got an 8, but the +2 intelligence modifier got me a 10.

 

You can't tell for certain, but it seems like theres an eye symbol on the pedestal.

(For the love of god finally someone gets that roll)

 

Kyelas: "Guys, there's some sort of eye symbol on this pedestal..."

I look to see if any of the symbols above the doorways look similar to the one on the pedestal.

 

Well the Beholder is a flying eye creature, but it does not seem to be the same kind of eye thing. The book also does not bear the eye.

 

So none of the doorway symbols have something that looks similar...

Kyelas: "That's not going to work..."

I wonder if there's something pertaining to it in my notes... I'll check.
