Can You Teleport To Troms If You Haven't Been There Before? (read Desc.)

Lets just say, you are a lvl 40 person (any class). If you want to get to Troms, is it possible to go there by doing "/kill" in the entrance of the Passage? (In the pigmen ravines).

 

You need to have been to a city to respawn there, or use a scroll to get there.

 

In order to teleport to Troms (or any city) upon death or /kill, you need to have visited the city once before. So, using /kill in the Pigman Ravines will send you back to Ragni rather than Troms.

If you want a low level character to get to Troms without using the Great Bridge, you could go on a higher class, get a Troms teleport scroll, put it in your bank, take it out on the low level class, and use it to get there. Then, if you die around that city, you'll end up in Troms rather than Ragni.

 

But you can't to scroll to a town you haven't visited

 

Well, I never have attempted to do it, and the only time I get scrolls from unvisited cities is for Tower of Amnesia. Is there a message of some sort that appears if you try to use a scroll to teleport to an unvisited city?

 

I think it's " You haven't been there before" or something

 

Oh. I didn't realize that a mechanic for that existed...

It may be possible for a lv40 to get past the Great Bridge/Jungle on horse, as long as it's on 1.8 to avoid falling in lava. Horses can go fast enough to outrun most of the mobs, and a lv40 shouldn't get one-shot if hit.

 

The great bridge is the only hard part, but is pretty easy with Assasain or some luck, as you can use the mountains to safely go from there to troms

 

You need to enter the city first, then you can TP in it.
If you do /kill in front of the Passage, you'll just get TPed to Ragni.

Whenever someone asks this question, I just ask myself in my head... "WHY?"
Let's list off the reasons, why you SHOULDN'T, or DON'T need to go to Troms.

Potions - The potions there you cannot use if you haven't even been to Troms, you can get level 45 potions, but Nesaak also sells them.

Buy Gear - You can't use them, they have a level requirement, so that's also a nope.

Quests - They're once again, not for your level if you can't go through the bridge and have to find some way to glitch in.

Grinding - ?????????????????????????? If u can't even get there why grind near there??????????

Scrolls - ?????????????????????????????????
