[1/4] Seaskipper Captain: Have you ever noticed how separate the ocean seems to be from the governments of Wynn and Gavel? It wasn't always that way.
[2/4] Seaskipper Captain: Ya know, Nemract used to have a strong naval force. The pride of the province!
[3/4] Seaskipper Captain: Nobody really knows what happened to 'em though. Nemract seemed to have other plans for their soldiers.
[4/4] Seaskipper Captain: I wonder how many pirates there would still be if they kept that up... I certainly wouldn't have as many stories to tell, ha!

 

[1/4] Seaskipper Captain: Aye, mate, 'ave ye ever heard o' the pitiful plight o' Sarnfic?
[2/4] Seaskipper Captain: T'was once a bright, shinin' city in the ocean, but I came one day t' find the whole place gone!
[3/4] Seaskipper Captain: I'd heard somethin' 'bout that a bunch o' mages sank it, 'n' t'was all 'cause o' some pair o' magic boots they was 'fraid of.
[4/4] Seaskipper Captain: I'd have jus' seal'd 'way those boots if I was them. And b'sides, what's so scary 'bout a pair o' boots? Ha!

"Maelstorm"
[1/4] Seaskipper Captain: Aye, have ya ever heard o' the master sailor, Carvel?
[2/4] Seaskipper Captain: Ya haven't 'eard of 'im? The ol' gal is a well known pal around Nemract. He catches the most largest and delicious fish around. We usually exchang' sailor stories in the bar sometimes.
[3/4] Seaskipper Captain: He stopped fishin' unfortunately.. because his trusty' bow got washed awayy durin' a massiv' storm. He lived but his belongin' were washed away, includin' his bow. 'fter that... he just sold 'is baits and managed to live off of that.. well.. until he passed from ol' age of course!
[4/4] Seaskipper Captain: Rumor has it that the bow washed up to the city of Selchar and it was found spewing seafoam and lightning bolts. Quite a dumb story if you would ask me. Probably made up by those drunk idiots in the bar.

"Volcanic Isles"
[1/4] Seaskipper Captain: 'Ave you seen the Volcanic Isles? Nah? It's a hot and dangerous area in near the Gate of Gavel.
[2/4] Seaskipper Captain: When I 'ave to get people near the darn gate, the place keeps heating up the area. Which makes the others complain about the heat.
[3/4] Seaskipper Captain: Some group of scientists and crazy fools work there. They claim the volcanos have ancient artifacts hidden by our early ancestors. They say that we could find out the history of our ancestors with these artifacts.
[4/4] Seaskipper Captain: I bet ya that those aren't some artifacts to tell stories! They are probably powerful weapons! Ya better check that out lad. Anyway... off the boat you go!

 

Seaskipper Captain: Ahhh welcome aboard adventurer. have you heard why the corrupted village got so corrupted, it gives me the shivers just saying the word.
Seaskipper Captain: some people say it was when the village was created and the miners cracked the seal of the portal and darkness fell on the village. sadly no one lived to tell the tail way it actually happened.
Seaskipper Captain: only if i knew i could tell you, hold on.... maybe you could go investigate why it all happened and come back and tell me.
Seaskipper Captain: well we have arrived, hopefully you can one day come back and tell me why it happened, but for now safe travels.

I never venture far inland. Wanna know why? Not enough water, that's why.
Sure, I could go walkin' instead of sailin', but where's the fun in that?
Also, I can't go too far from my dear Seaskipper, we've been through a lot together.
I should tell you 'bout that time I nearly lost my ship to a giant octopus but that's a long story...

(He ends up not telling you because you're nearly ashore)

Ain't the Seaskipper great? I built it meself a long time ago.
Alright, I might not have built evrythin', but I assembled everything without any help.
The sail's been made by the finest seamstress in Detlas, the mast by the best carpenter in Ragni.
The hull's been crafted in good ol' Nemract, and I got some bits 'n' pieces from the Rymek bazaar.

Ye ever hear of the Volcanic Isles? Nearly nobody's made it back alive from those shores.
The few that return have told tales of valuable gems guarded by dangerous monsters - some even say that the lava 'as a mind of its own!
I've never believed some of those tales meself, but apparently some Gavel folks called "WynnExcavation" decided to set up camp there searchin' for a great treasure deep in the volcano's heart.
Can't wait to see the look on their faces when they find nothin' but rock and magma, har!

Ever heard the tale of the great general Skien? No? Why, yer in for a treat.
Skien had a large island fortress that just about nobody on the high seas could even think of capturin'. Just about 'is whole army lived there, just as fierce.
One of his friends decided to join the corrupted n' nearly killed him and his army. Some say that Skien went mad and never felt friendliness after.
His fort still exists today, though. Last I 'eard it was being used by cultists, but somethin' from Skien's time must remain...
