Cataclysm Needs A Buff

As I have never seen a mythic in game I can't necessarily compare two mythics to each other, as well as them being different class weapons. I think what it comes down to is the build you use. Someone could get armor that increases thunder and spell damage, as well as health bonus to counter the harsh -hp effect of Cataclysm. With that, the person using it may do more damage than the amount you said in your initial post.

When it comes down to it, the build makes or breaks the weapon. A build that doesn't focus on damage won't do a lot of damage. Your fatal build may have boosted its damage more than your Cataclysm build. The only way to truly "judge" a weapon is to look at the build being used with it.

Ok so um I'm actually thinking of something else right now: The economy. How would a cata buff affect the economy?

 

15 stax ---> 35 stax

 

Even if it had -3500, it would still have like 3k...

Cataclysm does not need a buff, it has enough damage.
Since this is a weapon that's more dependent on factors like RNG and identifications, cataclysm does not need a nerf.
With cataclysm, you can either be disappointed and want it to be buffed or be satisfied with its damage and might want it to be nerfed.
In my opinion, cataclysm is balanced.
To people who think cataclysm needs a buff, learn to use it and learn to balance risk and skill for once.
To people who think cataclysm needs a nerf, give me reasons.​

Oh yeah, just because I never used a weapon does mean I can't have a valid opinion...
I've seen People doing great builds with it that oneshot and still have around 7000-9000 health.
Just because I haven't owned one doesn't mean I dont know anything about how it works...
And if you want to have a 10 billion damage build, just don't complain about having 5 health.
It is called "Glass Cannon". While dealing insane damage its still easy to be killed.

Mage's heal is OP and needs to be nerfed, yet its not that hard to kill it due to the fact that Fatal mages with 40k Meteors dont have much health.

In Fact, this thread is pointless since Cata is pretty much balanced. Fatal is the thing that needs a small nerf.

I have absolutely no clue about how it needs to be nerfed to make it deal a fair ammount of damage, so I have no suggestion about how much the damage should be.
