Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"He must have done." Eve says, looking around, confused.

 

"I could've sworn I saw him..."

 

Eve just shrugs.

"We could always ask him to help upgrade your parts when he's next around." Eve says.

 

"Sure." Iruk says, still a bit down.
"Actually, did Ruby ever finish reverse engineering the chip?"

 

"I think so." Eve says.

 

"Great. Maybe we can have him find a way to make more, in maybe a less swordlike manner."

 

"Yeah!" Eve says happily.

 

"Can you reach out to him?"

 

"Uh, I'll try." Eve says, putting her hands together and focusing.

 

"I'm-I'm just going to look around town now."
Cecil summons another snake, and explores the city.

 

There's no way to do that. It's floating above the lava pit that was Brisingr.
"Want one of us to fly you?" Xephyr offers.

Iruk pauses a bit.
"Anything?"

 

Eve shakes her head.

 

"Sure?" She said nervously.

 

"Oh well. I'll go... actually, if Ruby's eternally watching..."
"Yeah, I'll look for him. How didn't Eve notice me?" Ruby's voice echoes.
"She probably did and said nothing."

Xephyr grabs your hands and cane by her feet, freezing you to her as she starts flying you and the snake over the lava.
"Don't look down is my reccomendation!" She shouts.

 

Imagine a really loud scream.

 

Xephyr eventually places you on the upper entry of the city, lava bouncing oddly off some kind of protective sphere.
"Welcome to what's left." She says.

 

"I didn't like it but I didn't want to spark conflict." Eve says, heading back to the city.

Eve summons her metal box as she walks, taking out her flower sketchbook and looking at it.

 

"Telling me to bug off doesn't cause conflict, I just assume you'll be fine for a while." Ruby says before her presence disappears.


"Aj, you busy? The robo-couple's looking for you." She says telepathically.

 

"Who made this shield?"

 

"Robo couple? Oh dear lord." I say fearfully.
