Are Afk Builds Still Possible? I Think So (maybe)

I recently found out that Lifesteal ALWAYS activates when exploding activates. So, if you have high lifesteal, exploding, and thorns, the thorns MIGHT activate the exploding, and the exploding would activate the lifesteal. Is this actually possible? Or am I just wishfully thinking? :P It all depends on whether or not thorns activates exploding. Leave your thoughts down below :3

there's a bow I need that has 100% exploding :P

 

Please no more AFK builds, they break the game and then they get nerfed. We don't need any more attempts at an AFK build.

 

I'm just curious if its possible is all. If it is, then that just means I found a bug they need to fix, which is always a positive thing for game developement :P

It is theoretically possible, but you would have like 0hp unless you had a statue (i guess it is possible, huh).

You could always be a super tank and get like a 5% thorns ring. @JaydonTheWarrior

 

k so I just tried with 550 lifesteal, 100% exploding, decent defenses, and 100% thorns, and sadly, the mobs kill me before I can kill em with thorns, thus the lifesteal doesn't activate, and I die #RIPTheDream

 

Well I know for a fact that jaydon doesn't take damage from the orange wybel, so that negates the need for lifesteal at all. If jay here got 1% thorns, he would technically become a cactus

Wait, can anyone tell me if not taking any damage a secret at all? It seems like something you'd normally see when looking at stats for a while...

 

perhaps something like:

Gravity
Leggings of desolation
Virgo

abyssal amulet

'cuz poison damage will damage them.

Warriors have war scream, which stacks with the defense skill. So if you get enough defense points to have over 80% damage reduction, you take no neutral damage. (defense doesn't work on anything other than neutral damage.)

If you have gravity, with 250 elemental defenses in every element and something hits you for let's say 200 thunder damage, you won't take any damage. Since 250 > 200 (You don't get heals, even if you have more defense than they hit you with.)

Did anyone take the time to check if thorns activates exploding? I don't think it does thus ending this entire theory.

 

Yes, I know that already, I was asking if it was well known thing. I had noted how it could be possible around level 30 and started collecting the stuff for the build around level 60. Now I can afk with super bosses.

 

It took the devs a while to fix the previous one though... If there is a bug, it probably won't be patched for a while. If this is possible, people will just abuse it.

 

Yes, but I think its better to uncover and fix a bug, rather than let it sit there for eternity without even being known about. Getting straight to the issue and solving it is better than blissful ignorance in my opinion :P

ok first off it is NO LONGER POSSIBLE ;-;
mobs only do take the dmg that you take, so if you take no dmg they also take no dmg from thorns.
they also made poison no longer activate with thorns hits
only thing i see possible is having more hp, then they have hp.aswell as 100% explo and like at least 400 life steal

I just stack high damage and health with whatever amour i get that looks cool and jump in
