"They're something nice to look at!" Eve says happily.

 

"Erase completely...Ok..."

Cecil is actually starting to regret her life decisions.

 

"Who wants them? It's not like wood makes good weapons..."

"As long as she's bound by our enemies, her power will be abused." Xephyr says, worried.

 

"Who's our enemies?"

 

"A draconian who calls himsef the Hive Master. He's enslaved most of our kind via mind control."

 

"And, how did you and Ihra get out of the mind control? I heard that pain gets you out of it, but in this case...I'm probably wrong."

 

"Maybe people will want to buy them as trinkets?" Eve asks.

 

"A few of us were never controlled, Ihra included."

"I guess I'll have to rely on someone else, then." Iruk sighs.

 

"How? If you don't mind asking."

 

"What?" Eve asks.

 

"Ihra's just immune, Rineth was a subject of interrogation and they needed answers before the mind control wiped his memory, and-"
Rineth's cut off by Xephyr.
"I don't want to talk about my reason." She sighs, grimacing.

"I can't use magic. I'd have to find someone else to make the trinkets work."

 

"They don't have to be magic. They could be ornamental!" Eve says, giggling slightly.

 

"Or... what?" Iruk asks, confused.

 

"Some people might want to buy them because they look nice!" Eve says.

 

"Oh... why would anyone do that?" Iruk asks.

 

Eve just shrugs.

 

Iruk just stares blankly at Eve for a bit.
"I'll be damned if that actually works."

 

"It should!" Eve says with a bright smile.

 

"How do you know? Do you do things like that?"

 

"Well, Aj told me that people have liked my drawings and bought them, so I would think that it would work." Eve says.
