Who is he you ask?

Well one HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDDAD! and secondly Pillow is probably the most well
known user in the community.
He is proudly known for his various events, such as his Hallowynn trick or treating event or the Thanksgiving ball. He has also caught users attention with his popular series Wynn News, which has provided players with the recent news about updates, events and what not. Basically the Scarce of Wynn (only he wears strips, and hes a pillow..)

Anyways he is also known for helping out in Wynncon and Wynnterfest, two of the most popular
events this year. What makes them so popular you ask? Well they are held on a separate
server to Wynn, which means they can go beyond the skies limit with cool fancy stuff!

But not only that, he also has a bit of oj on his shirt.

Q: How did you first find Minecraft?

Pillow:
My neighbor introduced me to the game. We would play the console version together when we were young, and I eventually moved to PC.

Q: How did you come across Wynncraft?

Pillow:
A friend, KingK7, skyped me one day saying "dude we should play this server. It's called "Wine-craft" (lmao)

Q:What did you first expect Wynn to be like?

Pillow:
I wasn't sure what to expect from the description I received from KingK7, but as soon as I saw the big map and heard the unique note block music (first time I've ever heard note block music on a server) I knew the server would be my new favorite.

Q: How would you describe your first play-through

Pillow:
Well, at first I would just play with my friends and it was a laugh, yet when they were gone, I found a new interest in the lore of the game and finding out more about the game's history.

Q: How did you find out about the forums?

Pillow:
Ironically, about 2 years ago I was banned for duping on the server. I was linked to the forums to appeal. Before then I was oblivious that there even was a forums!

Q: How did you come up with the name; PillowPet?

Pillow:
You remember the neighbor I spoke of that I played console with? Well he had a PC account and at the time, I was a broke kid and since that neighbor quit playing minecraft, I asked him for his account. He said yes, and by the time name-changing came along, I was already known by my friends as "pillowpet98" (funny enough, I was the only "pillowpet" so the numbers were unnecessary). Eventually @Icy (Frostbear) somehow got me the actually name "PillowPet" so shoutout to him.

Q:Who or what inspired you to do the now famous Wynn News?

Pillow:
During the summer of 2015, I believe, I was in Detlas S1 like literally everyone else who played the game, and the idea just struck me in an anticlimactic way. It started off as something I wanted to call "Wynnterview" Flip's note: OOOH MAH GURD DATS DIS SHOW :O but got shoved out because people seemed to think it a rip-off Featured Wynncraftian. the

Q: Did you ever expect to become mod?

Pillow:
When I was asked to be a mod I was pretty surprised because I had a ban history, and also because I thought there were more people out there possibly more qualified than me.

Q: What was your first reaction when you "spilled the oj"?

Pillow:
"Oh my xD" http://imgur.com/a/VMVBL But behind the stunned PillowPet, I was just greatfuk for a chance to shift from consumer to contributor.

Q: Who/what inspired you to do Wynncon?

Pillow:
I was merely invited by @DJKreeper to be a part of the event. It sounded like something fun so I agreed.

Q: What role/service did you provide to Wynncon content wise?

Pillow:
Content wise, I just built some market shacks in the market. My main job was organizing the schedule and planning how the event will play out.

Q: On a scale of 1-10 how successful was Wynncon, in your opinion.

Pillow:
7/10. Muting problems were a pain, the speeches were nice, yet consisted of more of the event than we originally planned, and the games were very poorly planned and executed.

Q: How much work was put into Wynnterfest considering the vast amount of advancements made (i.e the fans / the santa sleigh) put into the Wynncon map?

Pillow:
The content teams job was to make everything more festive. We built new borders for the map and did a lot of command work and revamping. We also worked hard with the schedule and making everything fit.

Q: On a scale of 1-10 how successful was Wynnterfest, in your opinion.

Pillow:
6/10. Again... muting problems. Unlike what we had planned, a stand was added that distributed over-powdered potions. Players snuck these into PvP events and created an unfair environment. Additionally, a CMD tried to deal with spam using a mute-all command (which after this happened I couldn't help but get a sick sense of Deja Vu). This over-complicated a lot of things. Additionally, saturation given to the attendees in order to avoid starvation granted PvP-ers incredible regen, making the event last too long. In the end, the poor side of the event were mainly due to unchecked tweaks and changed that were never accounted for in the events. In saying this, there were also some fun moments, such as the Santa giveaway and Trivia.

Q: Who/What inspired you to do your events?

Pillow:
Detlas S1 was my main inspiration for making events. Not because it's some inspiring and fun place, but because of the opposite. In the summer before the Gavel Update almost every player was bored out of their minds. I had little mini events with my friends exploring the map called "PillowVentures". Once there was really nothing else to explore, I thought I should do something different. I feel that my events were a fun escape from the dreariness of waiting in Detlas S1 for the next update.

Q: How many events are you planning to do within 2017?

Pillow:
To be honest, I don't know. Events are a pain sometimes, and at a certain point you run out of things to do that are fun. I might do some here and there, but you never know.

Q: How will Wynncon 2017 look? Will you have some re-vamps of the old map like the advancements made in Wynnterfest and more buildings or will you make a new map entirely?

Pillow:
I'm the wrong person to ask that question, as I'm no longer participating in Wynncon, which belongs to @DJKreeper .

Q: How has Wynn changed your life and what do you expect to be in time to come?

Pillow:
If it wasn't for Wynncraft, I would have stopped playing minecraft a while ago. Wynncraft has come a long way from when it was 2 years ago, and feel like I'd like to stay until it's storyline and map is complete, but it sounds inconvenient to wait that long.

I don't know if there will even be a wynncon 2017. The events that took place behind the scenes of this event left a... bad taste in my mouth. And judging by how wynnterfest went wynncon might have just been a one hit wonder. Up to whether the community wants one or not.
