A spider shows up on Crystal's shoulder.

"Are you afraid of spiders?"

 

OOC: A what?

Crystal flinches once he notices, but then his attention is drawn to it as he stares at it.
"No. I haven't actually seen too many before."

"Ok..." She summons a centipede on your head.

 

His eyes disappear for a second, and re-appear on top of his head, lifting up the centipede.
"Hehe."
He giggles.

 

She turns to Thirteen. "Who's him? And, who're you?"

 

"That's Crystal. He's a pretty neat guy. Or rock, whichever works."
Crystal's still distracted with the bugs.
"I'm Thirteen."
I hold out a hand for a handshake.

 

She shakes your hand.
"You don't have any eyes. What happened?"

 

"Oh, y'know. Just some bastards, that's all."
I say this like an offhand comment.

 

"Soooooo...What can you do in terms of combat?"

 

"Not much in terms of magic, but I've got these,"
I say, taking out and holding a crossbow in one hand, and a heavy-looking Amethyst broadsword in the other.
I sheath the items again.
"But I've also got good mobility."
I say, leaping high and hovering for a bit, before landing on the ground again.

 

"Neat. I can summon a dragon. Along with some destructive magic, but summoning is my main choice."

 

"Good to know you can protect yourself."
I look at the spider on Crystal.
"How much can you summon at once? Is it based on mass, or entity quantity?"

 

"It's mostly about mass. I would probably die if I summon something like Rineth."

 

"In that case, I hope it doesn't come to that."
Crystal crouches down to pick up the centipede that he accidentally made drop off his face.

 

A puppy runs up to Crystal.

 

Crystal is immediately delighted, and confused, but mostly delighted.
"Ohhh... It's so cute..."
Crystal starts to melt.
Literally.

 

The air goes a bit weird for a moment, and then I suddenly appear.
"Tell me Cecil, can you summon nonexistent Creatures? Or creatures from another realm?"

 

"We're fighting my mind-controlled mistress, the Deity of Decay with the power to remove all traces of something's existence, memories included." Xephyr says awkwardly calmly.

"I hope you realize the consequences of what will happen in you fail to resist your coding to fire inside Rineth. The corruption we face will overtake Ihra, and she will then force you to fight her for taking the rest of her family. If you win, her mind control will break during her final moments. If you don't, her rampage will continue." Ruby sighs.
"You're built to be the best, hands down. You're gonna let a non-combat scenario make you look flawed?"

 

"But...I'm designed to attack in these types of situations, it was part of my training," Eve says, "H-How far is he?"

 

"Still on the coast. About half the group's there on his back, so messing up will yield witnesses."
