Cecil whispers to Xephyr. "Who's Eve and Iruk?"

 

"Eve? I don't know. Iruk is a robot helping us."

 

(OOC: Is Thirteen somewhere?)
"Anyone else I should know about?"

 

OOC: Not here

"Plenty, but you'll meet them in time."

 

OOC: He's around. Look for him, tag me, and you should find him.

 

"So...he's scared of me?" Eve asks, confused.

 

"Soooooo...now what?"

 

"In a sense, yes. He's jealous; you were cared for, upgraded, and other nice things. He had to shut himself down to break free from his creator."

 

Eve thinks for a bit.

"Couldn't he just get himself upgraded?" Eve asks.

 

"Shhh, he doesn't know we're-"
"Ihra, be careful. I hear someone." Rineth says, him suddenly getting up knocking you off balance.

"How would he do what he is not programmed to know?"

 

She tries to balance herself quietly.

 

As quiet as you are, a dragon head many times your size is staring right at you and your now-petrified snake.
"Who are you?" Rineth asks.
"She's with me..." Xephyr sighs.
"Oh... my apologies. Still, who are you?"

 

"Cecil." The spider decides to jump of Rineth.

 

Rineth doesn't notice the spider.
"Nice to meet you, Cecil. How'd you find Xephyr? We were just about to look for her to see if she's okay."

Xephyr blushes behind you.

 

"We could upgrade him then!" Eve says happily.

 

"Actually, she found me. I came across a dead dragon with two strange swords lying around. And she blocked my path off with ice."

 

"I don't know how he works. His AI routes to killswitches if I try any modification I think of. Plus, I doubt Aj would agree if he knew I was a part of this idea's origin." Ruby says, a bit frustrated.

Rineth cuts you off at "two strange swords."
"Okayokayokay, hush. That answers my question." He says, gently moving his tail to cover your mouth despite the size difference.

 

Cecil looks very confused.

 

"Oh." Eve says, disheartened.

 

Xephyr pulls you aside gently.
"That's her mother's corpse. Never talk about it near Ihra." Xephyr whispers.
"What're you hiding?" Ihra asks playfully, suddenly behind you two.
"Nothing, don't worry." Xephyr replies, startled.

"Hey, you said I don't know much about AI. You're welcome to give it a shot, I guess."
