    It's actually been made for when you hit with anything other than a weapon. If you hit with your fist, the game will take the damage value from the "default" item, which is 1-2.

    Yes, but your fists don't have any spells tied to them, meaning you can't cast spells, and no they actually don't it's just a test ID.

    That is some cool trivia stuff, though.

    Pretty sure Salted meant that hitting with anything other than a weapon will use the damage value from the "default" item, and ONLY that damage value, nothing else. Like, the "default" weapon having fast attack speed, but something about punching a mob is noticeably slower than the fast tier of "default".

    I even tested it right now, if that's assuring.
