Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I'm going back to my group to return the blades. You should go home."

Ruby turns to block Eve's view.
"Oh no you don't, metalsoul."

 

"Well...It's destroyed..."

 

Eve's eyes glow, and she looks at what Ruby is messing with.

Eve also holds herself from doing something terrible.

 

"From Brisingr?" Xephyr asks, worried.

Still blocked by some energy barrier.
"You don't trust me, and I'll reciprocate that." Ruby growls.

 

Eve inhales, then exhales, trying to keep herself calm before darting around the other side.

 

"Yes. I barely got out of there alive...But, my parents weren't so lucky."

 

Ruby turns around equally fast.
"No, prototype. Not for you."

"I... I'm sorry... um... maybe my group could find a new place for you to live?"

 

Eve summons her strength to keep herself calm, clearly close to breaking point as she dashes in a circle, both clockwise and anticlockwise around the object.

 

"Might as well. I got nothing else to do." Cecil sighs.

 

Ruby just blinks off to another corner.
"If you shoot me, curiosity is literally going to kill you, kitty." She mumbles.

"I... well... okay, I'll see if I can help. Follow me, and try not to die." Xephyr says, heading off towards shore.

 

Eve looks at the object with Ruby out of the way.

 

"Why's that?" She follows Xephyr.

 

Ruby brought the object with her...

"Because we're fighting gods."

 

Eve walks over to Ruby, glaring.

 

"Like Reflet?"

 

"If you would LET ME FINISH..." She growls.

"Yeah. Except the people and gods who killed her."

 

Eve gives Ruby a second.

 

It takes more than a second. Ruby just keeps on going.

 

"How? I thought gods get sealed, not killed."

 

"And if their seal is broken, what do you think happens?" Xephyr says, walking off.
