Attack Effects

Well I can't see my attack effects I turn them on and they don't show and I have all my setting right and I can also see my play particles and what not but I can't seem to get them to work




Any Ideas Why

 

Some particles show up better than others. For example, the lava particle is barely visible, but the emerald particle can be seen very well. What particle attack effect are you trying to use?

Also, if you have Optifine make sure the particles are turned on. I'm going to assume they are on since you mentioned that in your post.

I also noticed that different classes have different attack particles. The archer arrows have a trail of particles in the air, while the warrior has an arc of particles on the ground. Make sure you are looking around the specific area where the particles will show, or else you may not be seeing them.

 

Or you may have particles off

 

The OP said that he/she turned them on and nothing appeared for him/her, but it is another possibility that he/she turned them off on accident. I only ruled out that from my initial post since it was said they were turned on already.

To be honest though, he/she might have fixed or forgotten about the issue since my first post was last Saturday and it never received a response from the OP...
