Just redo sburb a bunch. The biggest factor to defeating the big guys is making sure you are a high enough level, and have a good combination of players. In addition, make sure you know which of your characters is doing damage and to adjust your orb matches to reflect that (for example, if your most powerful is john, make sure you are matching blue and skull orbs a lot)

Also, take advantage of your sprite(s). Each one syncs well with their respective kid.

 

Addendum. You unlock sprites by completing the set of Earth enemies relating to a kid with that kid. To unlock the guardians, do the same with the kids being god tiered.

HOLY CRAP HIC IS HARD

The rest was pretty much a joke up until The Grand Highblood, and Orphaner Dualscar, who were each harder than the previous 9 combined. By the time I beat them and got to HIC I was so low on health that I had to sacrifice all of my ability orbs just to stay alive.

On the bright side, at least I've got 11 ancestors at my disposal now, all with really good abilities.

P.S. I think the denizens were only so hard because I went for Hephasteus first. 5000 defense and like 20000 health plus a 10k damage attack was no joke. I just wanted to go in order but it seems it began with the most difficult one.

It's more luck based as it doesn't use orb generators (Sprites and such) so you need to collect orbs for your abilities yourself. Nemesis cuts this down considersbly, giving 50 orbs of ten of each colour. Not only this, but it's a team effort. One character is no main damage dealer, but together, they're very powerful.

Nepeta/Dirk are your defence shredders. These will ruin the enemies with 2000 defence, leaving a hole for you to get hits in through. During this time you can charge up your next defence shred while attacking the enemy.

Jake is your living 1-Up. If you can get over 30 Yellow orbs, you can wait until the skull appears and be completely safe. Jake will completely fill your health bar, and if you can get up to 50, you have something to fall back on allowing you to easily make back your yellow orbs quickly for another heal.

Roxy is your invincible shield. If you know when an enemy is going to attack, or when they're going to use a high damage ability, you can use Roxy to nullify all of that damage and render it useless. An example could be with the Grand High Blood (Though he's a pushover with this team). His first 'attack' will do nothing, while his second can one shot you if you're not at max health. However, if you use Roxy for his second attack, you will completely avoid all the damage.

Mindfang is your piercer and support. Her ability is quite expensive so takes some time to charge, but is a massive help for any enemy. The damage is fairly average, coming to about 950 as it is based off your attack. However, this is made up for by the fact it lasts 10 turns, meaning you deal 9500 damage total, and ignores all defence. This is devastating against defence based enemies with only 50 or so health, as one poison hit instantly kills them.

Together, you have a team with four possible colours to use and attack with: Green/Red, Yellow, Purple and Blue. This means that in most cases you will attack on your turn, and if you use skulls, you deal a massive amount of multicolour damage which is effective against almost any enemy. Even better yet, the colour you don't use, Red or Green depending on your defence shredder, you can stockpile and use as a pick-me-up so you don't need to waste 30 Yellow orbs for Jake's full heal.

 

Adding on to this, I chose Dirk over Nepeta because he reduces more defense (80% rather than 50%), and because he is red based which makes the handmaid and he sufferer easier.

 

True, but Nepeta's (actually has 66% reduction) lasts for 3 turns whilst Dirk's lasts for only 2.

 

Fair enough, but the sufferer was a pain without anyone doing red damage.

 

if we are going to fight this fight, I choose executor. 90% for 4 turns. though he's rather expensive at 40 blues he's worth it.

Also, my luck is shit. I am still trying to find a high damage that will fit my set, which is harder than it looks. But tbh replacing nep with executor fits my style better, so I did that
