Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Hey, Artemis? Myria? I'm going to go be with Rineth. I'll come back to let you know when we should get going later." Ihra says before heading outside.

 

"Alright, keep yourself safe." Myria says, waving.

 

Iruk seems to be corralling a pitiful looking Sgavrinn towards Myria.


Ihra glances around nervously for Eve as she flies back towards the shore.

 

Myria walks over to Sgavrinn and pets him gently, smiling.


Eve is nowhere to be seen.

 

He cowers, playing dead.
"Oh, you... just apologize to Myria!" Iruk says, frustrated.


Ihra lets out a sigh of relief, gliding over to Rineth.

 

*Totally not waiting for a reply*

 

"It's alright." Myria says, smiling and petting Sgavrinn.


She remains undisturbed the entire time.

 

As the sun rises, your quadruped companion slowly leaves your side, leaving you a bit cold.

He's even made his body feel like it's air temperature, though he's still breathing and fine.


Ihra lands on Rineth, and the pair begin telepathic conversation.

 

Myria checks over Sgavrinn with vines, to make sure he's alright.


Partway through the conversation, Ihra begins to feel watched.

 

He's clearly faking death.
Iruk prods Sgavrinn with the hilt of one of his blades.
"Come on, she knows you're faking it."


Ihra's staff crystal starts glowing slightly as she glances behind her back, remaining silent aside from slight movement.

 

Myria seems unimpressed, and leaves Sgavrinn be.


Nothing there, hopefully.

 

Sgavrinn slowly responds to Iruk's constant prodding, getting up and whimpering to Myria.
"Sorry, mom."


"Hello?" Ihra calls out, turning around.

 

"I'm not your mother, Sgavrinn. But I accept your apology. Playing dead doesn't work with me." Myria says.


There's a slight distortion a short distance away, and Eve uncloaks herself, waving nervously.

 

"But you're Artemis' mom, right?" Sgavrinn asks, still nervous.


Ihra sighs, then turns back around, her staff crystal glowing brightly.

 

"Yes, I am her mother." Myria says.


Eve stays where she is, unsure of what to do.

 

Cecil sighs.
"Desummoned again...Why can't anything stay summoned for at least one day?" She mutters to herself.

She summons a snake that climbs on her head.
"What do you see, seeing-eye snake?"

 

"Then what do I call you? Master's mother?"


Power surges through Ihra's horns as she proceeds to page through her tome.

You see the summon yawn and stretch outside. It didn't desummon; that's convenient.

 

"Come over here boy!"

(OOC: I'm assuming it's a dog)

 

"Myria." Myria states.


Eve keeps her guard up, concerned from the power surge.

 

OOC: I'm under the assumption it's something between a dog and a snake. Actually, I'm assuming most summons are chimeras unless specified not to be.

Its tongue flickers in and out before it returns to your side.

"Okay, Myria." Sgavrinn says, still nervous. "Am I in trouble?"


Ihra turns towards Eve.
"Come on. Save your energy."
