Poison's Knockback Wtf?

    So I was in the nether just having a bit of fun(that was my first time ever getting in the nether btw :P ),and there's this one guy who's using a weapon that poisons me and oh my god I get knocked faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar far away. I don't think this is usual :-/ Maybe it's because the knockback strength is based on your weapons attack speed but I mean…it shouldn't be like that?

    well with the ws boost some agi gear gives you can see the bombs coming and move from them
    if you're sniping from up high it'll take a while for the arrows to hit giving me time to pinpoint you and run

    Try to use the poison knock back as the advantage to (fly) escape away if u are archers or mages. But u may knock back to lava, so that u have to pres shift to prevent dropping in it.
    Also pressing shift while poison knock back won't happen the knock back unless u are standing on half block
