One other point as well is that the Avos could be a physical representation of the ethics appointed by the father (god in this case). So it may be possible that the Avos are elemental beings as just being well tuned to nature isn't only limited to earth. Of course this last idea is the biggest stretch of it all and is mostly just speculation.

Now unfortunately I doubt any of these possibilities will actually happen as we don't really see much happening with names for races as most are just generic races such as human, elves & dwarves. The only real importance with names is when it comes down to provinces.

As has been said on another thread, Avos likely comes from the Latin word for 'grandfather'. Latin is used in Wynncraft to name many things and as a student of Latin myself, I would say using the word for 'grandfather, ancestor' is quite fitting for this tribe. I am not familiar with Hebrew myself, but I imagine that Avos may come from the same stem word as in Hebrew if you were to go back to Proto Indo-European. Avos implies a certain age to the inhabitants of Corkus - if Spyro's theory that they are 'plant men', perhaps they are the ancestors of all plant life on Corkus, acting in similar manner to Ents, except in this circumstance the chicken came before the egg.

In the way that dinosaur eggs came before chickens, conventionally plant life comes before and then sentient plant people stem evolve from the plant life such as in Tolkein's works. The term avos, 'grandfather, ancestor, could imply that the Avos people are ancestors to the plants. Or as I said above, just a very old form of sentient beings.
