What's Wrong With The Economy?

People constantly bash on how bad the wynncraft economy is, why is that?

I remember a cataclysm selling for 11 stacks I didn't hear about 30 (mainly cuz the cata was bad af)

 

white horses selling for 70le altho it takes 118le to breed them

 

the very first one sold for like 20 stacks and some mythics iirc?

 

Oh ok, to be fair these are buyers who offer this not the seller offering it, meaning the seller will take the highest price

Some people have duped items causing the worth of the item to decrease. That's what I think. I'm not much of a trade market person so I might be wrong here so please forgive me.

 

People are greedy

 

Items are only worth what people are willing to buy it for

 

It's due to the insane amount of money circulating, once that happens people will start pricing items for an insane price causing a broken economy.

 

More players --> More money earned --> Price for items increases --> Inflation

 

but i shit on the economy more than anyone


seriously the thing's terrible, and it's all the players' faults.

 

I wish the economy was a little more open in the mythic department. A small loan of 30 stacks of le just seems a little too much imo. But that's just me. I remember waaaaaaaaaaaaay back then when people went crazy for Chakrams and Blue masks before gavel was even a thing lol. Man how the times have changed...

 

I honestly expected the gameplay update to change that, with the increased loss of items and rerolling... Someone has to do something. It's almost as bad as the U.S. economy where 1% of the population holds 99% of the money (and that's hardly an exaggeration)

 

That's because that gear was quite literally the best

Makes sense because that's how economics works what's wrong with that?
