This is why my motto is "A game is won before it even starts". A near infinite combination of things affect how a game goes, but in the end there is no luck. Even rng based things in games aren't truly rng. They under the exact same conditions always cause the same result. Nothing you do will change that. Unless you start using some funky quantum mechanics ofc. (Until they're proven not random)

My Mage class is almost level 90, and I haven't received a single mythic playing it. However, that's fine, because I have my bob's mythic wand and when I'm level 100, I can use my hive infused wand :) But seriously, I do think the drop chance of mythics are absolutely ridiculous. Not that I actually really tried to find them either....

I havent read what others said but i have also played for 3 y6ears and this uear ive been playing a lot of wynncraft leveled up a mage from level 1-97 0 mythics found leveled up my warrior from 75-89 0 mythics archer from 50-91 0 mythics i work so hard i have good loot runs good loot armour and get no mythics how is this server fair.I get a decent amount of legendarys which i can never sell tho..... Please wynncraft fix mythics also i know mythics werent a thing before gavel

There should be a reward or something for people who played wynn for ages and play often and get no mythics cause luck and random chnace is fucken shit.

 

You don't need a reward for playing :P. Playing the server and enjoying the game IS the reward...

Hi Salted. Can I ask you a question?

Does the Loot Bonus ID affect the quantity of loot in a loot chest or the quality of loot in a loot chest? Is it true that if a chest is not opened for quite some time, the loot inside will be better? Lastly, when you open any tier loot chest, does RNG preset what loot you're going to get already or does it rolls the dice and randomly decides what tier items you get?

Well, I've gotten 2 mythics. One from a loot run, and another from an item bomb... But both involved lots of luck. The people who get even more mythics are even luckier... ;-;

 

just checked your profile i was about to comment with anger but saw you have 258 hours of playtime while i only have 140 so that explains how you had 2 mythics and i had 0

So, this theory is not technically confirmed but i'm sure is so, because i also test it.
Loot bonus ID doesn't NOT affect the loot in the chest, affect just mobs. However sometimes you will find some super "OP" loot in a chest, that's because someone don't open the chest for a long amount of time so you will find better loot (i can confirmed this is 99% true, try to go near a chest and wait something like 30minutes and then open: you will mostly find a good loot)

mythics are level 96-100 in level range, typically. y'all are describing level ranges far too low; there's only four mythics, each a weapon for a different class, that fall below level 88 and none of them are in the same level range (az, apocalypse, pure, and archangel).

and you're highly unlikely to have a good loot bonus until around 93-ish anyway.

also, if you're using anything less then 240% for mythic hunting, you're automatically not doing it effectively enough. the drop chance of a mythic is approximately 7 out of 1 million (0.0007%). the only way you can get one is by dedicating yourself to sitting in the demon cave by yourself for hours on end with a 240%+ loot bonus set just killing everything. bonus points for mob totems.

i'm a level 84 who's found no mythics, doesn't care enough to find them (bob's mythic weapons are good enough for me, and hive infused or empire builder is my goal) and i can say that much with certainty. i hereforth regard the thread author's claim as false.
