NOTE: Before I start, the name "Ultimate Qira Theory" is not me saying it's foolproof. I'm meaning it's a megatheory and I've never done a theory this big i dont think
anyway you can go on ahead





Hello everyone! You may know me, I’m Aksis, or more commonly known as Oryx. I do stuff around the forums. I’m also a theorist.


Today, I’m going to talk about Qira. Or, more specifically, Qira and her ties to the Darkness in Dern.

PART ONE - Qira: Insane?


I’d assume everybody knows who Qira is by this point. If you don’t, well, let me just tell you. Qira is the final boss and the mistress of the Qira Hive, which essentially is Gavel’s Tower of Ascension. Near her Hive is also Gale’s Tomb.


Qira happens to have a lot of lore surrounding her.
Anyway, let’s get to the point.


Qira is insane!


Why?


If you happened to be around at the beginning of 2016, it is possible that you saw one of these two theories I made on Qira.

Here is also a copy of Yansur’s dialogue:

She declined, obsessed with preparing for a war.

This war is speculated to be the War of the Realms, aka endgame in 10 years when Dern finally comes out.

We have speculated that she is an insane being, so I thought:

It made another powerful being go insane.

What is this thing that made her go insane? At this point, there is not enough evidence.

Anyway, another thing: Qira is immortal.

Spoiler: WAAAATTTT?!?!?!?!?!????

Yes, that’s right. Why?

The reason is when you start the battle, she says, “Let’s dance, mortal!” We don’t go around calling each other mortals, right? It’s like going across the street and introducing yourself to your neighbor by saying “Hello earthling! I am Oryx (or Aksis now :>)”


Anyway, there’s also a clue towards Qira curing the decay.


Here’s the definition of immortality.


Immortality.

1. living forever; never dying or decaying.

Qira can’t decay, she was able to cure the Decay.


But, if she was immortal, why would she have been scared by an enemy?


In Greek Mythology (And yes, I know my greek mythology and I studied it a lot) a God can be temporarily killed. Mythological beings (unless they’re mortal) get sent to Tartarus after they die. Tartarus was one of the worst places you could end up. While greek mythology may have nothing to do with Wynncraft, it makes you wonder if immortals can be temporarily killed in the world and go to some dark and evil place that tortures them.

PART TWO: The Hive and It’s Creation


This is a shorter part as not much is known about the Hive’s origins.


Qira created the Hive out of desperation to rise to power and defeat the horrific monster on the other side of the Abandoned Mines.

Guys i know that a possible dern gate was found

The Hive is a giant tower that Qira and her artificial life forms live in. These life forms were created by Qira to protect herself from the “Monster” in the Ancient War. It’s possible that it doesn’t even exist anymore and was destroyed. But, Qira either way, wants to protect herself.


This means that she created the Hive. But how?


One random idea that sparked in my head that has no evidence whatsoever is she created the minions and made them build it for her.


But, me and @Spoopy Spring thought that possibly this Hive was either passed down to her by whoever her parents were or she created it using powerful magic inherited from a powerful ancestor. Who is this ancestor? If we were to make guesses at this very moment, I’d sound like a 6 year old theorist, which I’m not… heh heh….

Really guys im not 6

Anyway, this ancestor remains nameless because at this point not enough evidence points to this ancestor.

PART THREE: Summary of Qira and the Theory


This is a quick summary of the theory.


Qira is insane. She went insane from fighting the Eye(?). She’s immortal. She wouldn’t have gone insane from the eye then though…?

That’s because when Qira dies, she goes to a deathly place for a while similar to Tartarus in Greek mythology. This deathly place isn’t nice.

She created the Hive to hide and protect herself from the Eye(?). She either built it with powers from a nameless ancestor, had minions build it, or was given it by previous generations.

My thought on this comes mainly at the end point. What if being semi-immortal she goes to death's realm? But thats not a good thing for her and she went insane through the process? Or something...

You defeat her, not kill her.

 

I don't think she's insane, I think qira is some sort of a tortured saint. she knows something that we don't and we go fight her altho she hasn't done anything bad to us.
I think she knows that she couldn't stop the decay so she decided on making an army for the oncoming fight.

Tbh I greet other people with "hello mortals" it can be that qira has a sense of humor. it's also a logical greeting from a powerful being to a weaker one.

I believe that she created the hive so she could create her army in peace.

 

Has there been a confirmation of what qira actually is? Is she just some spider bitch? Or

About the whole immortal thing, immortal can be interpreted as never dying of natural causes, so killing Qira isn't that much of a stretch. However, if she was immortal, that wouldn't be that spectial anyway :/.
Aren't we, the player, immortal too? Every time we die we just come back. Anyway, something else that has always bugged me is the that the lore of the items is: "This x is only given to those who have beaten the master of the hive." Does this mean that the hive has had previous owners being both male and female? I was just wondering because if Qira would've been the only owner of the hive it would probably have said "mistress" instead of "master (which can either be interpreted as male or genderless)".

 

About the immortality thing, wynn has a couple of immortal beings and it seems pretty easy to become one

 

Her name is "Mistress of the Hive", which can then mean that if your statement was true, she received the Hive from her parents through a will of some sort.
