Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Ragnyon sighs.
"Live under the Hive Master and get back to me. I meant that this whole war is rough at best."

 

"Psh, we're going to beat the dude to a pulp anyway. Don't sweat it." Abigail says casually.

"Ah, that reminds me, I feel like our group has got...smaller. Like we've forgotten a few people." I say.

"It's probably nothing. I'm sure we'll do fine on our own." Stephanie says.

"Yeah, plus, we still have Thirteen and Crystal. They seem useful." Abigail says.

"And Eve. She can probably do everything we can and more in terms of power." I say.

 

"I still think it's odd you're willing to sacrifice your greatest creation to defeat someone. It's kinda like how the Hive Master rose to power, turning a civil war into a complete conquest."

 

"Well, that's the thing. I'm not sure if I want to use her." I say.

"You're not going to use the ultra powerful killing robot to take down our greatest enemy?" Abigail asks, shocked.

"I've designed her to be a fallback, should everything go wrong like with what happened with Ruby. I wouldn't be sacrificing her per se, she's close to invincible, but using her removes any chances of an emergency helping hand and retreat." I say.

"So you're just going to send her home? She seems so sweet!" Stephanie asks.

"I'll use her to kill Ruby, and then she'll be put back home and called should we need her again. I don't want to...risk anything." I say.

"Why exactly do you want to kill one of my best friends again?" Abigail asks, fireballs appearing in her hands.

"She turned when I was vulnerable, locking me in a body and trying to kill me." I say.

 

"Was she trying to kill you or... them?" Ragnyon asks, still a bit doubtful.

 

"Both." I say.

 

"I still can't believe it... something's gotta give; why is Ruby so bent up like that? She didn't seem hostile at all before."

 

"If you're going to backstab someone, you don't do it immediately. You lead them to trust you, make them feel a sense of security until, BAM!" I say, drawing Shadow Katana, "You strike them down when they least expect it."

"Pretty much sums up my reasoning why I don't fully trust you." Abigail says, smirking.

 

"W-wait... me or Aj?" Ragnyon asks, worried.

 

"Aj, of course." Abigail says, smiling warmly at Ragnyon.

 

"Probably shouldn't say that in front of him..." Ragnyon sighs.

 

"It's fine. We friends and we joke around with each other, right Aj?" Abigail says happily.

"Yeah, you degenerate piece of crap that will never achieve anything in life!" I say happily.

"Hahaha, so funny!" Abigail says, punching me in the arm with clear force meant to hurt.

 

Ragnyon cringes.
"Mind reminding me how you haven't killed each other yet?"

 

"I don't think we ever could." Abigail says.

"Yeah, I mean, I'd clearly kill Abigail in seconds." I say.

"What? No you wouldn't! I'd probably beat your ass to the ground before you even started to hurt me." Abigail says.

"Psh, I could kill you without even using Shadow Katana!" I say, louder than usual.

"Oh yeah? You wanna freaking prove that, huh?" Abigail says.

"Bring it, sister." I say, getting into a fighting stance.

Abigail lunges on me, and we start beating each other on the ground.

 

Ragnyon rolls her eyes as she moves towards Stephanie.
"So, them aside... you okay?"

 

"Yeah, I'm fine. I-It's scary...being so close to death." Stephanie says.

 

"No kidding. But... we should probably get everyone away and get Myria to break this up soon."

 

"Away? From what?" Stephanie asks, confused.

 

"Their fight..." Ragnyon says, watching you and Abigail duke it out.

 

"I'm sure they're not that bad." Stephanie says.

Myria walks over to where Abigail and I are fighting, a grim expression on her face that could make even the bravest knight scared. Abigail and I soon freeze as soon as we see her.

"The two of you are going to sit apart from each other and write apologies to each other. Then, once you've spent enough time apart, you're going to give each other the apologies and you're going to become friends again. Understood?" Myria says, her voice dark and extremely serious.

"But-" Abigail tries to protest.

"UNDERSTOOD?" Myria says, her voice raised.

"Y-Yes." Abigail whimpers, clearly terrified.

"Hey, I'm a king. I don't need someone as low as you bossing me around!" I say, annoyed.

"ARE YOU DISOBEYING ME!?" Myria shouts.

"Yes." I say.

Myria fakes a punch, before slapping me across the face while I'm still blocking her false punch. The sound of the slap can be heard from a good distance away, and it sounds incredibly painful.

"Go and write your apologies." Myria says, pairs of vines picking Abigail and I up and dragging us away, Myria's glare enough to melt steel beams.
