Assassin/Ninja Help Specialist + Cancer Build

I need help figuring out a specialist cancer build with good hp
cancer's 3200 is good but not perfect

Cataclysm

%melee damage and %elemental damage don't actually multiply with eachother, they just add. So the -X% damage from cancer isn't quite as awful as you may think.

I kinda wanted to use the amulet of rejuvenation and a good hp chestplate for this, but the amulet destroys cancers poison damage.

^ This is a not that great of a build though, if you wanna use cancer with melee / spells, use the specialist. It's damage barely gets touched by cancer.

It takes a bit to improve the specialists damage, so I'd say focussing on (elemental) defense or walk speed is best here. Considering how you said that 'assassin is nothing without walk speed' that's what I went going with.

(I'm assuming that you got the kind of money to use slayer, considering how you wanted to use cataclysm at first.)

This is a build I'm actually behind myself, it dishes out good damage. Got some good defenses. Good poison. 'nuff spells

base skill points (assuming max ids):
29 strength
88 dexterity
29 intel
21 defense
21 agility

So you got a total of 12 skill points of play room within the items.

I'd suggest looking at this thread to know how much intel you should get for the assassin, DO NOT forget about the extra intel that the specialist gives you when looking at this.

 

the reason I said nothing about walkspeed was because I thought it would be clear
assassin can't do stuff with negative walkspeed

 

Take advice from someone who spent a week trying to figure out a cata build.

Don't do poison. There is absoluteley no point. You will do up to 30k spin attacks in a regular build and poison wont even have to to activate. The only build I could figure out is agility and dex. Not to mention that a cancer would ruin the whole point of cata which is damage.
