How do you get a talking mushroom?! I really like the little guy!

 

I don't know the combo. But the piston is at least 5 blocks behind the wall...

Has anyone tried push all five buttons at once? Also with talking mushrooms in their inventories?

Oh. I didn't take a good look around the room. I found the other 4, so that makes 9 including the gold button. Still, has anyone tried it?

 

Yes you are.

 

There are 9 buttons in the room in total, and the one above the lava on the left side of the room makes a higher pitched sound with a piston. There is only one eye missing, and the gold button makes two low pitched sounds unlike the other stone ones which make one sound. And using surround sound, it seems like the piston is on/behind the wall with the 'correct sounding' button. Using this video, the missing eye slot has moved one the left, and the buttons weren't there. I also just got 9 people together pressed them all at once, still nothing. There can't be anything I missed, did I catch it all? Give us a hint please?

 

Is it possibly the cultists scattered through the room?

I just wanna point out that a miner can spawn in this cave (along with the cultists ofc,) that may point to WynnExcavation knowing about this portal.

Well, I'm probably gonna do both WE D and EotS today, both quests that have cultists, so I'll go ahead and get ender eyes.
