Grian Has A New Server

Most popular servers, except shotbow

 

Eh. I like watching Grian, so I am hopeful. As long as he keeps on working on Wynncraft, I will be happy. But what I really hope is that in some way, these 2 servers are connected. Cause if they were connected in some way, then it would be interesting to see what he puts on it.

 

There is like 5% of the grian community that not copies his builds right off.

 

Pretty sure it's just a community chat and link to the store.

 

I play on Arkham Creative and I'm sad to say most of that is true ;;

 

I don't think this is @Grian's server, as his servers, such as this one, tend to be a bit more quality when it comes to the website. Just a bit. ;)

Hey dudes!

This server is still in development stages - but to stop any rumours I'll clarify early on. I'm not quitting Wynncraft, I'm still managing the content so don't worry about that. Will the two networks be linked? I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. I'm directing the vision of the Grian server but I do not have a "hands on" development like I do with wynncraft - because I already have enough on my plate with that + youtube. I also hope not to show preferential treatment of one network or the other in regards to advertising (although wynncraft is definitely harder to keep putting on my channel). As for the different teams - they each have their own builders. I have made sure to keep both networks builders separate to make sure there are no conflicts no one is "switching sides", it's not a competition, it's a fun community server for builders.

I hope the server is received well and not as competition or a threat.

Hope this clears up any questions about it. Not sure when it's being released yet.

Grian, why would it be hard to upload Wynn content?

He can find ways to relate Wynn to his builds. Afterall, his channel wouldn't have started without Wynn. His first few videos were taken directly from Wynncraft.

There's not much to do on Wynn, either. Similar to why Let's Plays aren't all that popular on youtube, a series on Wynn would probably end up being a walkthrough.

Anything else would require much more effort.

Only a bit.
You gotta' keep in mind though, these servers cater to two different audiences (as far as I can tell). Wynncraft is great for people who like an adventure, or to go through an overarching quest to uncover a story. And from what I understand, the Grian Network will be aimed towards builders. Sure, some people may leave one server for the other, or be involved with both. But as I see it, each server is very different from one another, and thus have their own unique hooks to draw players in.

Unless of course the Grian Network will have an adventure and quest aspect to it, in which case everything I just said is a load of crap.

 

My main concern is that Grian will devote too much time to his new server and start to do Wynncraft less and less.
