Wynncraft: Hard To Love. (item Loss Bug)

Well, it looks like I've been struck by the magic disappearing bug again:

I had a max walk speed Uriel (A low level, incredibly hard to obtain yet incredibly OP rare ring) and a close to max walk speed Raging Wind (Which you obtain from Beyond the Grave). I logged on today and started doing some grinding in ToL to get some Broken Amulets to fight the Altar boss as I had some items I wished to identify but not the cash to identify them with (I'd recently converted an LE and I didn't want to break it back open). After fighting the boss with the assistance of another player, I decided to head back to Troms to identify my items, after which I sold them and teleported to Detlas. After naming my Creeper pet "I'm with stupid" (Which created an error with the ', so I changed it to 'Im with stupid') and my Silverfish pet 'Stupid', I hopped on the airship to Cinfras and checked over my inventory. It was at this moment I realised my two rings, an important pillar of my Walk Speed build, had been stolen by Wynncraft for the lolz.

I can't say for certain when I specifically lost them, but I'm fairly sure that I had the rings when I was fighting the ToL boss.

I'm not asking for my items back, I'm simply reporting the fact that these bugs are still around and seriously need to be fixed. For those that do not know, I experienced this same bug losing all of my armour (Including two Hive Air pieces) a short while back. I have no idea what on earth could've caused my two rings to disappear, but I'm fairly certain it wasn't the bug with the skill points. I don't recall seeing a message pop up in chat shouting at me saying I need my agility skill to have x points in it, and even if it was this bug, my inventory was fairly empty and had more than two available slots.

If this happens again, I think Wynncraft is going to become my Kismesis.

Heyy! At least you didn't lose a Monster like I did to this bug! It sucks though right? This bug is the worst.

 

The thing is, Monsters, whilst Mythic, are generally obtainable through simple means such as the player market. The two other items I've lost, coupled with Raging Wind, however, are only obtainable through quests. I've lost Gale's Freedom, Flashstep and now Raging Wind, which all require you to have a class at Level 80 and above in order to play the quest to get the item from them. Not only that, but Gale's Freedom and Flashstep require two classes at level 80 in order to get the two Hive Air Tokens to trade for the items.

tl;dr: I hate having to grind classes to level 80 to get my stuff back.

 

This was most likely the skill point glitch, you could have missed the notification.
I've lost items to that one too, including a Qira ring that I can never get back, and it almost made me to quit Wynn completely.
I agree, this has to be fixed. My items have gotten more and more expensive since then, and if I lose any more untradable/unobtainable quest items I am going to quit and never return. I just cannot enjoy a game that hits me in the nuts for no reason without any way to recover the damage done.

I've lost a really good Old Keeper's and another good bracelet too. It happens so much that it's probably a norm now. Yes, it needs to be fixed but we have to just get over it and move on for now :)

 

The thing is, I'm fairly certain it wasn't. I would've most likely picked up on the missing rings a lot sooner with all the inventory management I did from when I logged on to when I realized it, and I had plenty of space for the items to pop off into.

 

Hmm. Well there could be an even shadier item losing bug as well.

Obtainable through trade market yes, but to make the money to buy one of them takes a damn lot of time and trading. It took me a month to buy it and to lose it that very same day. Very annoying, if I got it for nothing I wouldn't mind losing it but I spent a lot of time gaining the money to buy it. And those items which all require level 80 or higher, well that challenge doesn't really apply to me since 8 of my 10 classes are above 80. I guess we have different obstacles, but please don't say it's "simple" to obtain as it really does take a lot of time to afford. Oh and also, you also have to go through the trouble of finding someone selling a Monster.

The thing is
Just start a new class
And use that one most of the time, if you really have to use your main with all the good items use it.
It took me like 10h to get a level 60 (10h or more)

 

This is why I think quest reward items should be tradable. You can only use them after completing the quest, so there's no point for them to be untradable, except the Hive items which don't have a quest requirement.

I've been playing the game for 2 years now and I'm lucky that it hasn't happened to me, at least I don't have any mythics to lose.

 

I think Wynncraft felt bad after stealing my rings and decided to apologise with some items:

Literally got all of these from grinding.
