    Maybe do what the mushroom SAYS and COMPLETE IT. Like, take an ender eye (try all of the eyes in the game) and PRESS THE BUTTON, and I will bet money that pressing the button with the eye of blood will do something.

    I'm kind of wondering at this point if completing ??? is worth it. There are more than 700 threads in the ??? Hunt section, and the fact that I have heard that you need a party of a bunch of people to even stand a chance makes it even worse.

    I took look. there are a lot of buttons one directly activates a piston. My guess is that you press the right order of buttons in the room and open a door with the final golden one. I have no clue how to solve this one.

    I've found 6. The first four are right next the the eyes on the walls in the four corners of the area in which you can stand on.
    At first I thought the steps leading down tot he lava were there just in case you fell, but it seems there are 2 other buttons on the walls at the bottom steps on both sides. The one on the left (from the perspective when you come in) activates a piston.

    Also, from the "put two and two together" from the talking mushroom, you probably have to press 2 of the buttons at the same time or something.

    Actually, there are eight buttons. Two are hidden under a platform which means anyone other than a mage is screwed if they want to explore here. I'm aware of one of the buttons working but I can't figure out what to do next. Maybe I need the mushroom?

    I assumed that you could tell the order by listening to the noteblocks, but I tried them all after the one that gives the piston sound and got nothing.

    What I do know is that the piston is well behind that wall...
