Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Who's to say I don't trust you, either?" Myria asks, before whispering something. Ragnyon feels herself become empowered, before Ruby feels herself become empowered too. Once I appear next to Myria, Ruby finds herself up one memory.

 

They've only set up camp for the night. You'd have to wait if you wanted to freeload.

Ragnyon hides her head, breathing heavily as Ruby disappears.
"Now they'll get what's coming..."

 

I follow Ruby, wherever she goes.

"It is the path that has been chosen." Myria states.

 

"I would rather Ruby die... more would be saved. She's a lying, backstabbing... and now she... ughh..." Ragnyon stammers.

Ruby seems to be waiting just outside the city, laughing.

 

Myria winks.

"Aight. Let's kill some fools." I say, Shadow Katana already drawn.

 

"Didn't she help you? A-are you going to turn on her?" Ragnyon asks, trembling.

"I need every killing blow." Ruby says, calming down. "Now, I hurt all of them. There's no way they have much left."

 

"I have no interference with this." Myria says.

"Well, gee, thanks for leaving a fight for me." I say, annoyed.

 

"What happened earlier, then?" She asks.

"Well, at least you won't mind the sight of partially mutilated opponents." Ruby says.

 

"I meant I will not have interference from now on." Myria says.


"Eh. Seen em all before. Probably seen worse. Let's get going." I say.

 

"Why did you give her the vision..." Ragnyon murmurs.

"I'm trying to pinpoint. They're not going to just give themselves up to me."

 

"It is necessary. Sometimes we must do things that harm others for the good of the timeline." Myria says.


I empower Ruby, hopefully making it easier to pinpoint.

 

"Timeline... it wouldn't have done much... I only hope she can find room to spare an old acquaintance."

It doesn't take long for a draconian with a lance run through their body to be visible.
"Found you..." Ruby taunts in a singsong voice.
They say nothing.

 

"Adios." I say, slicing the draconian with Shadow Katana.

 

They block your attack with their lance, bleeding from where they pulled it out.
"No."

 

And with that, I disappear and appear behind them, attempting to expand their lance wound with Shadow Katana.

 

They block that narrowly as well, diving to the side as Ruby lets off a psyblast.

 

I block the psyblast and try to redirect it toward the draconian, before trying to knock out their legs to cause them to fall.

 

Shadow Katana gets caught in their rotting flesh, a shield projected from the tip of their lance to block the psyblast.
"I will warn the others."

 

I quickly jam one of Artemis' paralysis arrows into the draconians neck before shoving Shadow Katana into their mouth, hopefully cutting their tongue and piercing their head.

 

The arrow is melted via pure electricity, shocking you. They flash backwards to evade the cut, getting blasted back by a psybeam.
