Should I Get A Pure

Im considering getting one cause of the massive spell damage and mana steal, but everyone says its crap, should I get it?

 

It's a good wand and carried me through my mage playtrough completely

 

Was this before or after they nerfed it? Also Did you have trouble with enemys that ressisted air and water damage?

 

I believe this was before they needed it and using Bob's Mythic Wand against enemies that were immune was enough but killing bob is HELL with it since it just doesn't do enough damage and the fight took my literally 40 minutes

 

I never used one but I believe Ethereal does more damage, the base damage on Pure is low so % spell damage doesn't do a lot

 

Ethereal probably does better post nerf and has good Mana Regen

It does more than pure evem woth 500% spell damage? how does that work?

 

Pure has like 0 base dmg...

Ethereal should theoretically deal much less damage than an average Pure, even if the Ethereal is fully maxed out.

Pure is insanely good for its level, don't mind the people who say it is bad because they are mostly the people who think it should be able to be used at endgame even though it is level 65. With 520% spell you have 620 spell DPS, which is actually quite high.
