    so Ik that the party's do some stuff with xp but what does it do

    Nothing, you get an XP bonus and share some XP, it's an easy way to talk to multiple people but they aren't that special

    from what i know you get 100% of the xp and the people in the party get 20% extra xp

    You get the most if you kill the mob and the xp you gain from that said mob will be shared among the other members of the party. However due to the latest patch, mob totems will not grant an xp bonus to your party if a totem spawned mob is killed
