Chibi read the post and saw that the OP tried scrolls already, so either you were correcting someone/adding to their argument with somethig they already knew/that was irrelevant, or giving the OP advice to try what they already tried. Neither are logical.

 

I was adding on that scrolls work as an alternative to /kill. Most of the time, they do. The only times they don't are when mobs are near, you're in a certain questline, or something glitched and went wrong.

I can see how it seemed like I was saying scrolls were also an option to OP, though, so sorry about that.

 

Scrolls don't work when you're facing a block that is close enough that you could break it in normal mc, so scrolls are actually useless inside walls.

 

Wait, seriously? I've never encountered that before. Guess scrolls don't work as often as I thought, then.

Is there any reason behind that, or is it just a glitch?

 

Just a glitch, I assume. That's why people couldn't use scrolls when they got stuck in the class selection room, it's so small that they could never not be facing a block that close.
