Losing Most Stuff When Dying From A Lvl 21 Skeleton

So i was grinding skeletons to lvl up to 29 and i got killed by lvl 21 skeletons heaps of times and only lose like 5 or ten emeralds well i lost most of my inventory and most of it was hard to get i was lvl 22 and got killed by a lvl 2 skeleton idk if this is suppost to happen or not because i havn't been playing long. Here a screen shot of what i lost and im not sure if im suppose to lose that much items from dying from 1 lvl 21 skeleton

 

There is a thing called "Soul Point".

Soul Points are the blue wisps in the rightmost hotbar slot. Everytime you die, you lose 2 soul points. When your soul points are low, you lose much more than when they are high. So basically, if you keep dying, you'll lose more stuff than when you just die once every day or so.

I have to agree with Beefandleather. Just look at the chat in your own screenshot, the info is right there.

 

at higher soulpoints you only have a chance to lose items like rotten flesh and stuff
but as you get lower you can lose a LOT more
can someone with a bit more patience explain this

 

i didn't know that the less souls u have the more u lose

 

It's a new addition. How they used to work was that if you died with two soul points or less, you lose your entire inventory.

he has 1 soulpoint remaining (minimum amount) and still thinks it's a good idea to go fight

 

Ye but since it was too harsh they tweaked the soul point system which resulted in the current one

Perhaps you should've paid more attention to the warning messages in the chat. Wynncraft is a very complex game needing full attention while learning of you don't want to end up loosing your items or even much worse. Also, be happy you didn't lose your gear.

 

im pretty sure that the % chance to lose items is 0 untill like lvl40+ because my friend at lvl29 had 0 soulpoints and kept dying but not losing his id-ed gear, only useless shit

 

That was just luck.
