Any Tips For A New Player?

Would having 20 blocks of reach and max killaura count as hacking?

1.) Don't AFK. Ever. Use /class if you have too.
2.) Don't beg, it leaves a bad reputation to other players.
3.) Mage is a good starting class for new players, it can heal, so that's a good thing.
4.) Check the wiki if you need help, but if that doesn't help, ask another player!

I would read the wiki if I was you, and look up things like powders, classes and their spells (and the elemental dmg of spells),
All quests are on the wiki, so if you dont know what to do with a quest, check wiki.wynncraft.com.
you can use wynncraft.com > help > item guide to look up items. Or you can use wynapps.tk for that as well.
Use the map on map.wynncraft.com to look where you are and where cities/towns are located.

This is handy to learn what soul points are. With a low amount of them you can lose your stuff if you die.

 

Well, for newbies try to grind in the areas outside Ragni (NOT the Pigman Ravines, much higher lvl players die there). If your class has crowd management or speed movement abilities, try heading along the Emerald Path to Detlas, the first "big city". Stock up on tp scrolls, they'll come in useful for travelling btw cities without going through the dark, dank and horrible forest. Do ALL the quests in Ragni- they're easy as hell and give you good starting emeralds.

Once in Detlas, store all emeralds in bank except maybe two or three stacks for buying stuff. Don't buy armour or weapons from merchants: monsters drop much better loot. Before you get to that point however, keep grinding in Ragni (remember those tp scrolls?) and occasionaly pop back to Detlas to store your stuff. Attempt the skeleton dungeon (Decrepit Sewers) at lvl 10 or so, and keep going until you can one-shot lvl 7-10 zombies. Then move to Detlas to grind, at which point I don't think you're a noobie anymore.

For the first couple of levels gear stats don't affect much, especially at the lower tieers where you basically look out for defense and max extra HP. Once you get to higher level leather or gold, check for the most balanced option- try to generalise until you find particular styles you like, like +movement speed style builds or somesuch. Don't mess around too much with powders until you're confident, and don't get too attached to your weapons- there's always a better one.

you grian fan(boy or girl). Tell noone you came to wynn because of grian, you might be hated (just don't). A few things. Good luck... Just play it, and follow the quests. Your xp bar is your level, fight other mobs around that level, get armour, don't really wander off, etc... Don't ask for items and money, only for help on quests and more. DO ALL QUESTS and you'll need the quests items for later

 

Experiment with the different playstyles and classes, and find one that suits you. Make sure to take advantage of elements, and pay attention to the elemental weaknesses and defences.

PLEASE READ THE QUEST DIALOGUE.
I have seen so many noobs get confused and think something is a bug when their quest book doesn't tell you something. One guy ive met was incredulous that anyone even read quest dialogue at all! Please, actually take some time and read. It's worth it

 

Check to see if a thread has been posted on a subject before posting your own - you will without fail be notified by at least one community member if a duplicate thread already exists.

Also, if you find an Easter egg and a major update has not come out within the last week, there is at least a 95% chance that Easter egg has already been found by everyone else and their dog (#nicefind.avi). So don't post threads about finding Easter eggs unless you are very convinced it is new.

If your ever stuck on a quest and no one can help go to YouTube Seb Hippie and glitch have quest guides for a lot. and if you ever get bored don't quit keep exploring find a different aspect of the game you haven't played much to keep you entertain cause grinding later on can get slow.
