I just fought dark balrog with help of an assassin.
If your def is low, and your fire/thunder resistances aren't brightest, don't think about soloing this dude.

He has ~100k hp, hits thuder/fire, is weak to earth/water, and (?) is immune to fire.

Right now, killing him will drop 22-26k hence the dxp, and getting some water/ def+str warriors on forums shouldn't be too hard, but now count the exp with
Cosmic Armor
A weapon for xp with powders (ex, gungir with water powders)
Potential xp bomb


(Also it's probably the strongest, or one of the most strongest monsters who are not quest/altar themed)

 

There's a better dragonling set than black dragonlings.
They're weak to water.
"Dragonling of the Depths"
They're in the Skylands decently close to Kandon-Beda.

They also spawn in groups in a cave rather than close to a precarious edge so it's safer.
