New Weapon Models...

According to Salted the new weapon models from crates wont work in 1.8.
I would change versions because of that. But at the same time Wynncraft itself is still for 1.8 (Horses and stuff)

What would be the better version now?
1.8 or 1.9/10

 

I'm using 1.8 when I play and 1.9 when I chill out in Detlas and stuff

 

I think they should update the server to fully 1.9/1.10 so horses and boats will not glitch

 

i use 1.10

 

1.9/10 is probably better used frequently. If not in 1.8 horses will become glitched but walk speed builds are becoming as if not more faster than white horses, and granted there is the boat, if not in 1.8 the same will glitch will occur but we do have airships and the VSS Seaskipper to get to places over sea quickly

 

I still don't know what prevents them from upgrading to 1.10. Everything will become more enjoyable : 1.9 horses working (the changes to them was good, client-sided, less lag), the new boats (you can go you and your friend on the same boat, and that is really dope)
And they'll finally begin to work on features involving 1.9 (offhand?)

 

If you have a donor rank, use one of the particle effects and use you horse in F5, where the particles are is where the game sees you are.

Best use the magic one, it makes it look like you have a friendly sprite fly beside you.

Witth this method, 1.9 is better to use. And non donors are best in 1.8 unless they don't care about he horse issue that much

 

Another trick is if you have the sound, the horse makes no footsteps sound when it's far from the player

 

Also goes for the music that plays as you play.

 

Protip #2 : quickly unmount then mount the horse back to get synchronized with the server

 

Updating the code.... its tidious easy to make mistakes in and EXTREMELY time consuming

 

I can see why then, but there's still something that I find weird :
you can play in 1.10, so updating shouldn't be a problem ?

 

In 1.9+, many 3d textures are glitched, such as them being misplaced in hand correctly or turned the wrong way. Especially for daggers and spears which annoys me

 

Its a popular community plugin that allows that, but people cany use 1.10 features
