Minecraft now has a "little kids game" reputation because of all the little kid fans that only watch yt vids, and because of mineflex

Now, this is my trigger.
No, that's about 60% of the two largest servers, even then, probably only half of the people who actively play Minecraft also actively play or consider themselves apart of the community of Mineplex or Hypixel, and surprisingly, a lot of people still mostly play survival.
The only reason people notice the "12 year olds" is because they're noisy and loud, most of the time, the reason they get so immature is because some "mature" guy triggered them by calling them salty, or hacking.

Same bro, CTF was the shiz.

 

I'm almost crying rn. My first world was a creative town with mansions, chicken coops, parks, a bakery, a school, and even a hotel that I was working on. I was using a Mac and was happy with just 20 fps, and I didn't know how to take screenshots or else I would have. The world got corrupted somehow though, and I lost the account anyways, but I'll never forget that first small house that I built.

 

I remember the first thing I've done is build a treehouse.


The second thing I've done is burn it down.

 

I love how all of the "problems" you guys are talking about only relate to servers and YouTube. Completely avoidable.

Also, I need someone to play Minecraft Survival with. I really wanna do a vanilla Survival world with anther person.

 

Yea, it really sucks when you tell people that you play Minecraft and they hate you for it because of that reason.

I remember my first survival world. It was on my friend's phone. It sucked but it was the shiz to me then. We would sit there for hours building a crappy brick house together. Eventually, we grew out of that world and into different types. I build a map in creative that had a bunch of minigames in it when I finally got the means of playing MCPE. Somehow I remember that my friends and I all spawned in giant domes and had an hour to build in them. After that hour we would fight each other. I could probably go on for hours about my experience with Minecraft, but I won't fully disclose that, here.

Ahh yes... Good 'ol Minecraft. I always forget how nice the music was (I turn it off anymore :c Why am I like this?)

 

I stopped playing Minecraft.

I do remember my first world, though. I had TMI (TooManyItems mod) and spawned in a lot of stuff.
I lost the world about a year ago when I tried to get the same seed in 1.2.5 but messed up and the world got corrupted.

I remember playing the pocket edition on my friend's phone years ago...
I remember we would build dirt houses, mine, and continuously punch each other to death.
I also remember screaming and panicking when a skeleton started shooting me for the first time.

 

i remember the first thing i did on minecraft was a kinda war between zombies and golems
the 2n thing was prob a bricks and glass tower on a very old version of PE good frickin moments, i wish i could get that version back... ;-;

Recently, I started playing a bunch of old modpacks that were quite popular a few years back (tekkit, yogbox etc). The nostalgia was great, and hearing the music after such a long time made me smile <':

I remember my first exposure to minecraft being a demo on my mom's phone for PE. All I would ever do was build a small 1x1 brick house, and then dig underneath it and build my 'secret base'.

Looking back, I forget how much minecraft has influenced me. Without it, I might have never gotten into games.

 

It was so beautiful, now it's annoying lol

 

Nostalgia when i played skyblock with my best friend... good ol' days ;( i miss those days so much

 

Oh my god the nostalgia! All those good days I had in 2012, the newbie days when I did not know how to identify a hostile mob, the days when I had no idea about recipes, the days when I stored blocks by placing them... It was really fun but will never be again ;-;

Btw thanks for this fabulous discovery! You made me come from time to time just to remember those old days :3 (Also the OST is enjoyable though)

 

The problem with Minecraft nowadays is that Mojang is too afraid to do any awesome updates. They won't even touch the Underground (which needs serious improvement) and they keep adding throwaway content like Woodland Mansions. Ocean Monuments and End Cities were cool because the Monuments added Sponges and some really cool mobs, and End Cities added the Elytra.
1.10 and 1.11 were super underwhelming because all 1.10 did was add some bad looking blocks (except magma blocks those are cool) and 1.11 added llamas (more throwaway content) and as mentioned earlier, the Woodland Mansions.
They need to do the following:
- Improve the Underground
- Improve the Nether
- Improve the End
- More random structures
- Fill out the rest of the block color palettes
But that probably won't happen. I'll just dream of when beta and early post-release were hopeful and constantly added new, amazing content for the game.
