Looks....empty

Try adding more furniture and expand the room a bit.

 

I mean, I was kind of going an empty look, but I can see what you mean.

 

Lack form, without shapes and shadows. This kind of builds must have another technique. The window is horrible and all it's disproportionate. No concept and no emotions, but this is your first build. For the next time add these things.

And yeah, also do this.

 

I know what you mean by everything, but shading. Do you mean yous shaders, or like change the blocks to look like shading?

 

No no, not shaders. Shading is when you use custom brushes to create a more realistic effect of something.
Get an image of a steampunk room for example, to make a right color similar to the picture you will need to use more blocks together and with a sense [not // replace 1,3,545,554,3 1]. If you want I can do a mini-tutorial to you :)
