Build My First Real Build :)

So, a couple of weeks ago, I was bored. So I decided to build a couple of tents.



Now, I thought to myself. *Yay! I made something a bit better than the usual dirt shack!*
I was wrong.
My friend took one look at this, vomited, almost died of eye cancer, then said to me: "You need to watch a couple of Grian videos."

I trained, and trained, and trained, playing match after match after match of Build Battle, grinding away at the Hypixel server, watching hundreds and hundreds (OK, maybe only like 4) Grian videos. I learned some cool tricks, saw the things I've never seen before and ate a few potatoes just because.
And today, I decided to redo it.

That's all! This is my first real build, real as in the first build where I actually put effort into it. Constructive criticism and advice is 100% welcome, please post suggestions down below!

I think the next step would be to add terrain and custom trees, as well as maybe making some different styled tents. Overall, pretty good so far! :D

 

Thanks! I'll try a couple of custom trees, and I plan to add some hills, and maybe a lake that the river may go into.

Nice improvement from last week

Suggestions:
-Widen the river, I have seen no rivers that narrow before

-Add depth to the Y axis

-Use hand built trees

Good start! Maybe add a bank to the river and some custom trees. You can practice custom trees by watching some of Grian's older videos.

 

I'll be sure to follow these tips, and I'll probably get back to improving this build in about a week. (I've had a week long holiday that's about to end... school and stuff) Thanks for all the suggestions!
