Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Katie keeps hitting the ice, her wounds starting to open up again and the iceberg becoming bloody red.

 

In front of Katie, Crystal runs up to the ice, presses his face against it, and yells in a pleading tone, "KATIE, STOP THAT!"

 

Eventually the blood obscures the vision inside the iceberg, and the pounding slowly becomes softer before stopping.

 

"THIS WILL HEAL YOU. IT'S NOT A TRAP, ALRIGHT?"
Crystal continues.

 

No response; just blood swirling around in the iceberg.

 

"TOUCH THE ICE IF YOU'RE OKAY."
Crystal seems a bit worried.

 

Still no response.

Eventually, the blood starts to settle, and Katie just floats in the ice; unconscious again.

 

"Oh no..."
Crystal goes back to the star he made, looks at it, and attaches it to the iceberg where Katie tried breaking through.
He looks at Katie once more.

 

A few bubbles raise out of Katie's mouth periodically, and her wounds seem to slowly be closing again. She's still unconscious, just floating in the iceberg.

 

Dejected, Crystal heads back to Artemis to report on Katie.

 

Artemis is still focused on Stephanie, who seems to slowly be getting better.

 

"It was more to come here since I was looking for Sgavrinn, but yes; I'm already thankful that he didn't just leave me in the field."

 

"Well, be on the lookout for any light creatures. There have been multiple attacks, and I don't want anyone else getting hurt." Myria warns.

 

Ragnyon sits down on a mearby bench.
"Shouldn't we be caring for the giant pet as well, then? If we're strewn about, he's probably having a panic attack." Ragnyon asks, a bit worried.

 

"Giant pet?" Myria asks.

 

"Sgavrinn. He's kind of just a giant pet."

 

"True. I haven't seen him, however." Myria says.

 

"Maybe I can get him to help Artemis. I'll go look, unless you need something from Aj."

 

"I would like to keep him close, should my predictions fall true." Myria says.

 

"Alright. I'll go see if I can find him. It shouldn't take long."
Ragnyon lies down, her spirit form separating from her body.
