Actually, Hussie mentioned something about "post-canon content" sometime this month. I assume that video was the "post-canon content", not the epilogue, after reading the comments of the video on YT.

 

Considering Act 7 was a massive deal about Homestuck being 'The End', a credits sequence with an update on how our beloved characters (No I won't get over Nepeta) are doing makes sense. Plus, epilogues do tend to happen after the credits, and Hussie had said he was throwing around some ideas for the epilogue not too long ago. I'm pretty sure the credits were already in the works.

 

Oh, I just read your message wrong seeing as the video has a lot of people in the comments saying that there would be no more Homestuck content, sorry!
And am I supposed to use "}:3" now because gcat and tavros

 

It depends which form you want to roleplay as. I purrsonally don't use 'B33 <' for Davepetasprite^2, so you don't have to use '}:3' for Tavros/Gcat Sprite.

 

Mildly annoying, as it contradicts the pattern established on Hussies formspring (1&11, 2&12, 3&13, 4&14 5&15, 6&9, 7&10, 8&8) for the sake of referencing

It would mirror problem sleuth, where there was an epilogue after the credits.

Guys help. It's 5 am and I've been up for 24 hours. What kept me up? Watching movies in the homestuck stream. Gonna get 1 hour of sleep while they watch Shrek and then come back to Scott Pilgrim. Because I really wanna see Scott Pilgrim.

Edit: According to the newspost Hussie made on 10/6, it seems that the post-canon content, what we got today, and the epilogue, which has yet to come out, are seperate things. It seems Hussie's finally fixing his mistakes, and there's only more information to come.

Yeah I just realized that. Which means the epilogue is going to wrap up all of these plot points. Given the cliffhanger at the end, I imagine the epilogue would start with the masterpiece.
