Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Yeah... sure..."
I say slowly, looking around for wherever the hell Katie might be.

 

Katie appears to be in a mini-iceberg covered in vines a short distance away. She looks half conscious; though her hair is still ash grey.

 

I walk over for a closer inspection, and Crystal follows.

 

Katie appears to be half awake, her wounds still visible but closed. She twitches slightly in the ice as she regains consciousness slowly.

 

I head back to inform Artemis about Katie, yet Crystal stays.

Crystal waves to Katie and smiles, in an attempt for a response.

 

Katie doesn't seem to register Crystal's presence, or at least, can't respond. She simply floats in the ice, half awake.

 

Back at Artemis, I report,
"She's doing fine. Still unconscious, I think, but recovering."
Pause.
"Speaking of, how's Abigail doing? She was attacked as well, right?"

Back at Katie, Crystal makes a large generic flower head, and shows it to the possibly-conscious Katie.

 

"She's under the care of Victus, another forest guardian. I'm not sure how she is, but I would think fine." Artemis says.

There's some slight movement from Katie, though it could've been coincidence.

 

"I might check."
I comment.
"Any idea of where she is?"

Crystal takes it as non-coincidental anyways and smiles happily, reaching up and placing the flower on the top-right side of the miniature iceberg.
He also attempts to ground it to the iceberg.

 

"Probably near the city entrance, where all the fire and lava is." Artemis says.

Katie moves a little more, probably due to Crystal's actions.

 

"Thanks."
I say, moving off in that direction.

Crystal smiles, taking a step back to look at the amazing spectacle he has created by putting an ice flower on an iceberg, which is encasing an ice woman.
He then thinks for a little bit, and proceeds to make an ice star, showing it to Katie.

 

A few bubbles rise out of Katie's mouth, adding to the ice once they reach the top. Katie's right hand starts to twitch, almost like it's grabbing for something.

 

Crystal taps the star to the side of the iceberg.

 

Katie's eyes open slightly, lazily looking over the area in front of her.

 

Crystal smiles and waves.

 

Katie moves around lethargically, trying to figure out how to leave the iceberg; before looking shocked when she sees her wounded arms.

I appear beside you as you are walking.

"I have a bad feeling about leaving those two alone. I shall be following along."

 

"Alright, good to know, I guess."
I say this, then keep silent until my destination.

A bit worried, Crystal puts down the star and motions for Katie to stop.

 

Katie starts hitting the sides of the iceberg weakly, trying to get out; scared.

 

Crystal runs into Katie's vision, waving his hands frantically in a motion that says 'stop'.
