Why is it nightmare fuel? (Belive me when i painted it, it got to the uncanny valley)

I've been playing too much don't starve lately to not get excited by that phrase. (Which is actually strange because this wybel kind of looks like nightmare fuel from the game when dropped on the ground)

 

why does it gets you excited that phrase?

I was making a Wybel with anime eyes and rainbow swirls based off the one you just sent me but.. Photoshop crashed
