Art Death Walks Among You...

ey boi's we back with another surprise art piece - this time it's about as edgy as you can get, especially since it's Hallowynn!

I did this with drawing oil sticks and acrylic paint. @cicetil thoughts?

I can instantly tell that it is Reaper from Overwatch so you did a great job in the actual drawing of him. But, his lack of neck and shoulders looks kinda weird since he has a hand. I would recommend adding a shoulder and neck just so his arm doesn't look so misplaced.
The background in my opinion could use some slight work. Since there isn't enough room to make a real picture background, I would recommend adding something like dark blur that could be "shadows" or some of the colors in a "Death Blossom" or something else that has a Reaper feeling to it since the background is kinda bland right now. In my opinion you should also remove the blood since in Overwatch there isn't blood and therefore feels kinda misplaced to me. If you decide to keep the blood I would personally change it from the red-orange color to a darker, ominous red. Currently it kinda looks like fire with its current color.
I might have seemed really critic but you did a decent job, hope I didn't insult you. These are just some of my opinions on how you improved and feel free to ignore them if you disagree!

I did a small mural on Hanzo, but I used it on my art boards and I didn't get any pictures ;-;

I'm glad you think that, considering making it edgy was the purpose of it ;D

Woah this looks so cool! I suck at acrylics, so this is amazing compared to what I've done lol. The texture on the gauntlet is really well done and the bright orange-red blood adds a nice contrast to the painting. It's also simple-esque, which really brings out the character. The only criticism I could possibly make is that the mask is almost the same color as the background. Other than that, looks great :)

 

Actually, it was made using oil pastels, not acrylic. But thanks for your feedback! :D

 

Oh.. So the acrylic was used for the red blood, and the pastels were for the main head. At first I thought, how can acrylic paint achieve that texture, Toxidrule must be genius! xD

 

Hell, I could probably get that same effect with acrylic if I wanted to, but I've been running low on paint recently :/
