The bug is that Warrior's natural 20% defense stacks in an unintended way with the defense skill points, in such a way that they are cumulative when they are not meant to be. Thusly, if you get your defense stat high enough as a Warrior, you become functionally invincible to neutral damage, and due to the way the Orange Wybel inflicts damage, that means its damage is limited to 2 damage per hit(as Defense does not affect elemental damage, only neutral). It has only 1-1 fire/thunder damage, which means if you have element defense on those aspects, its overall damage is not affected in any significant way, but if you have a weakness to one of those elements, it will take full advantage of the weakness.

 

I wish defence affected elements, but wasn't as good for each individual defence. Like, rather than resisting 80% neutral, resist 40% neutral and all elemental

Who knew putting points into defense and using war scream was bug abusing. Guess that means every warrior on the server is abusing that bug.

You'd be shocked how few warriors actually go for a full-on defensive build. They seem to be a rarity nowadays from what I can tell, unless they're trying to abuse Apocalypse and War Scream.

 

Full defense is garbage for general pve.

 

120% damage reduction + 80% defense + warscream resistance + elemental defense + health regen/steal = nearly invincible warrior.

 

Since Hax wars so often, all our warriors go full Defense builds, but that's obviously a skewed sample size because no one else wars as often as us.

nope. Resistance and strength are both currently broken and do absolutely nothing

 

Welp, add that to the list of things about warscream that are broken. It does melee damage, and it's effects don't work.
